The Fitzwilliam League of Champions 2017

League of Champions points are awarded for buying-in and also cashing-in during all regular poker tournaments in the Club. The prize pool is generated by a €1 contribution per player from all tournament buy-ins.

2017 League of Champions Final 2017

The conclusion of the League of Champions 2017 was held on Sunday January 14th. In the end Anthony Higgins emerged victorious with some regular players hot on his heels. Congratulations to everyone who made the final as this is a reflection of the quality of regular players at The Fitz and to be the League of Champions Winner is one of the most prestigious titles at the club!

The top points earner over the course of 2017 gets €400, 2nd place gets €200 & 3rd place €100. The top-25 players in the annual league table in addition to 2 wildcard tournament winners will play off for the Player of the Year and an estimated prize pool of €8,000.The stack size is determined by the annual points x 2, in addition to a base stack of 5,000 chips (rounded to the nearest 25). Wild card qualifiers match the starting stack of the 25th ranked player. 15 minute blind levels throughout.
